King Crimson
King Crimson is the only classic rock band that still seems to be pushing the enevolpe with exciting new releases. I think it's because they approach music as a jazz combo would rather than as rock band worried how their fans perceive them. Part of this is due to their fans perceiving them as risk takers and playing very sonically advanced music.

Web Merger
I downloaded a program called Web Merger that was suppose to generate html pages using place holder tags from database data. (Tab delimited text files). However rather than make a table from the data, it made a page from each record. I filed it away, someday it might come in handy. This program came from a review in MacWorld (November? 2001 or October)

Getting Free Healthcare
When I first heard about this story I thought maybe the guy was a genius. He needs expensive medical treatment, which he can't afford. Did he called his lawyer and figured all this out? ... You rob a post office so you get a mandatory sentence in a Federal Prison where the medical care and prison facilities are relatively nice. He didn't use a gun, didn't do anything other than pass a note. Didn't get any money. He called the FBI before he did it, and waited in his car for them to arrest him.
When I finally got around to hunting down the story, I was a little let down that the guy was just your average criminal.
I've always been interested in gaming the system and I thought this was going to be a well thought out scam.
I demand more from my criminals. If you're going down the dark path, you should at least think it through, and think big. It's always some stupid kid holding up a convience store for $500. They don't seem plan any kind of get away. Here in Fargo, they follow their tracks in the snow and arrest them minutes later. At least the latest headline in Fargo is about an embezzlement of approximately $14 million dollars. An accountant for Lund Boats bagged this amount. If I was a shareholder I would sue/fire the management. This was going on for years and no one noticed?

Greetings One And All
I set up this pita page, plus some light customization in a matter of minutes. Of course I know what I'm doing, your mileage may vary. This is a pretty nice site and easy to get around with. The Manila Site is better but it's much more complicated and harder set up. It seems geared to a group or organization, whereas Pita is better suit to the individual.
